back to the 1830s, this community features restored period homes
and Victorian cottages as well as newer homes. The most noted home site is
Wren’s Nest. Museums in the area include Hammonds
House, devoted to African-American and Haitian art and the
Omenala-Griot Afrocentic teaching museum.
